Elections for Town of Addison residents are held at the Addison Town Hall, 127 First Street, Allenton, Wis.
Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. See the calendar link for election dates.
Beginning in 2012 every voter MUST provide a picture ID when voting. A valid Wisconsin Drivers License is the easiest item to provide. Please make sure your's is updated now. Please do not wait until election day, as you will not be allowed to vote without a valid Photo ID.
Absentee Voting by mail begins approximately 3 weeks before each election. You can obtain form GAB-121, Request for Absentee Ballot from the Clerk, or download it from the Government Accoutability Board website. http://gab.wi.gov (Link below) Your absentee ballot can be sent by mail after the Clerk receives your completed GAB-121, along with a copy of your Photo ID. Or you may vote in person at the Clerk's office beginning two week before the election, until 5:00 p.m. the Friday before the election. You MUST be registered before receiving an absentee ballot. (Link below) You MUST also provide a picture ID before receiving an absentee ballot.

Public Information
Statewide Voter Registration requires all electors to be registered before voting, beginning in 2006. Qualified Electors may register to vote in the Town Clerk's office during regular office hours. Registrations will also be taken on election day. Persons wishing to register to vote must provide proof of residence. A valid Wisconsin Driver's license with a current Town of Addison address is the easiest form to use for this requirement. If this is not available, contact the Town Clerk for other options.
